I reapplied for another 340$ USD
My application was canceled (incorrect personal information). obviously i entered my name correctly. i applied through ho chi minh. iām super mad and donāt know what to do. fly to jakarta and try again? the visa fee is already so much money.
i cant download line, i have tried on my pc with google and on my iphone with apple and it says the same thing every time. itās not available in my region (united states phone number).
my only guess is that one of the bank accounts i submitted has a different us address than the one i put on my profile, but i provided so much more proof than 500k baht. idk.
any ideas?

I feel there are legitimate gripes here because unlike physical paper documents where there is proof of an error, anything can, has and does happen during electronic submissions. I remember when I applied they updated the entire system in the middle of my application, and when I got back in there fields had changed!

Tbh this is why I used Issa Compass. Itās like an agent-lite kind of service. They input and submit everything and respond to any additional info requests if there are anything. Also you are guaranteed a refund or free re-application if you are denied after they give you the green light.
Itās like 18,000 baht total (incl Visa fee, so like 555 USD). Made my process really smooth.
I donāt work with them, but I know and trust the founders and really liked their team and mission.

Iād just reach out to them for rates tbh. I imagine itās like an on-top fee, but for the sake of ease, itās the highest number posted. Mine wasnāt exactly what was on their website. It was a less.
Edit: I looked it up in my records, it was 487 total when I did it, and with Vietnam being 340, it was 147 USD on top for the service.

You can only do one run a year now. So if you want to stay more then 6 months you are out of luck. I was in Thailand for 5 months, went home for 3 months and when I came back I almost didn't get back in.Wojtek ***********
There is no limitations if you flight. There is 2 visa run per year only if you past border by car or bus but if you come by air there is no any official limitations.

Wrong, still unlimited if you pay 4000 baht per trip to a border run company. The only thing cracked down on is Cheap Charlies trying to do it themselves. Same for airport (fast track). Just business,

Why would you leave out your middle name if it's specifically tells you to put it? All it took was following simple directions. If you couldn't do that correct it's going to get a lot harder to be in Thailand.

ScenicPersimmon526 people aren't perfect they make mistakes, some people have dyslexia, the fact that its a one shot deal is a scam. When you pay for something you should get the option to fix an issue, that's just fair. Defending stupid bureaucracy like this make you part of the problem.

Why you just donāt take an agency to help you going with the application you already lost 2 times the fee; you should have done it after the first time; they can chat in Thai with people working in the embassy and so on; donāt try again alone in your caseā¦

It's crazy that they don't tell you what was wrong. I know lots of people defend them for rejecting applications on technicalities, not telling why they are rejected, and keeping the money. I think those people are crazy too.

Itās clear that something wasnāt entered correctly, otherwise, the application wouldnāt have been canceled. Before applying again, itās important to identify exactly what went wrong so you can correct it. Otherwise, you risk facing another rejection. Anyway, I recommend you reapply in Hanoi, it has a fast turnaround time3-5 working days, the staff are competent and requirements are generally a little less strict.

Big mess there , if you are in Vietnam, you may try to re apply in Hanoi

never had any problem in HCMCš¤·š¾āāļøIf you triple check all the info you put down, should have no problems. Always put your full names as shown in your passport. If they want any additional information you will be asked to provide it.
Also ensure you donāt leave the country you applied in before receiving approval or otherwise.

I know it's odd they don't disclose what data exactly was incorrect, but besides the name (including middle name, etc.) sometimes there are problems with the date of birth, etc.
