As far as I know it’s only Jomtien immigration who requires seasoning for the initial Non O as well.

But you can buy the land in her and the and do a lease contract on a house in your name.

No limits on a regular Non O visa or yearly extensions of stay as long as you buy a re-entry permit at the immigration or airport before you leave. You can buy single re-entry permit at 1000 baht or multiple re-entry permits at 3800 baht. This allows you to get stamped in within the validity of your current visa/stay.

A one year Non O-A retirement visa is always issued with multiple entries at the embassy/consulate.

I think it would by quite hard to get a second METV so short time after you’ve maximised the first one in the first place, and you might need to look into other options. People who don’t qualify for long term visa often apply for a ED visa’s for to be able to spend more time in Thailand and learning thai. The school has to be approved by the thai immigration and they’re cracking down on people who’s enlisted and don’t attend classes.

After the 90 days Non O visa you can apply for extension of stay with a affidavit letter from the French embassy in Bangkok confirming your income if it’s minimum 65K baht a month.

Non O visa is the only visa you can apply for in Thailand. You can also do a border run and re-enter on a new 30 days visa exemption now if you wish. And I guess you know you can extend your visa exemption with additional 30 days at your local immigration.

Tourist visa can only be applied for at an embassy/consulate outside Thailand.

The regular Non O visa is for 90 days. After this you apply for extension of stay every year.

You can apply for a new Non O-B visa for business purposes on further terms as well.

For applying for a non O visa you’ll need to be over 50 years and have an income min 65K baht a month. This can be pension or regular income. If you can’t meet the monthly income requirement you’ll need to put 800K baht in a bank account in Thailand.

This is for both visa and extension of stay. You just contact your embassy in Bangkok and they will verify your income. This is valid for six months and you can apply for both a 90 days Non O visa in Thailand and your future extensions of stay with a letter from your embassy. Most embassies in west Europe -including France- still offers this service. The UK, US, AUS and Denmark stopped in 2018.

Nick MuayPlam Ok, good I understand. 👍😉

Nick MuayPlam Yes of course, it’s still a single, -not a multiple entries visa, but she still has 26 days left on her TV and could get a 30 days extension as well, -IF she bought a re-entry permit before she left. Just mentioned this because I mean she’ll be fine with another entry on a NEW tourist visa. I don’t think my comment was unclear regarding this.

So you’ve spent 34 days in Thailand this year and you can probably just re-enter now quite fast without any issues. If you maximise two tourist visa within a year, 180 days seems to be a trigger point and you can’t expect to stay more time in Thailand as a regular tourist the rest of year. There’s no written limitations and everything is in fact up to the IO you’re standing in front of, but with just 34 days and not even maximised one regular tourist visa, I feel quite confident that you’ll be fine. If you’d remembered to buy a re-entry permit before you left, you even could re-entered on the same visa.
