to clarify, the wager is My point - "Visa application conditions are NOT ongoing requirements after the visa is issued, unless expressly stated" vs Your point - "Visa application conditions ARE ongoing conditions regardless if they're stated in official sources as such or not"

look, I'm not a gambler but how about a friendly wager? You prove me wrong, not just saying so, with references/official sources/heck I'll even take a video from an immigration official, and I'll donate 10k baht to the Thai charity of your choice? I'll give you a week. At the end of the week if you can't prove me wrong, therefore proving I've been correct all along (I've provided my official sources dozens of times for you now), YOU can put up 5k baht to the Thai charity of my choice? You can get help from the other two
@Robert ******
and @John Stanners, split the 5k idc 🤗

Again for possibly the 50th time just for you, The DTV is issued under the Immigration Act B.E. 2522. The 500,000 THB requirement appears in MFA application guidance as proof of financial capacity at application. Ongoing obligations are governed by Section 37 of the Act. There is no published Ministerial Regulation stating that the 500,000 THB must be continuously maintained after issuance. Entry screening under Section 12 is a separate matter.

Absolute rubbish, it doesn't happen because it's not an ongoing requirement past the application stage of the visa. The IO staff are well trained on what they ask for, and you agents are full of crap

I'd rather have teeth pulled than attempt an extension with the DTV at the moment

I'm on DTV soft power, with an income with no Thai affiliation whatsoever and it's not an issue.
