Absolutely not. It's a application requirement, not ongoing. If it was an ongoing requirement it would be in writing

Great to read that. It has previously been quite painful, and last year Chiang Mai Immigration was telling people they wouldn't do them at all. Then at the start of the year Immigration information was that people needed a Thai bank account for the statement, which gave us all hope that maybe Thai banks were ready to take DTVers 😅
