Having extended my stay there twice last year, I'd go for the option that avoids you having to trek in to their immigration office and have to deal with some of those staff. There goes your afternoon.

Wise is the best IMHO because it has lowest fees, but also gives you a better exchange rate than other services, like Western Union. They even let you compare their rates to others to show you how much money you are saving on the transfer.

I'm in Bangkok right now. Been here over a month. I was approved to leave first go, within 24hrs, after 11 failed attempts to bring my fiancee to Australia. Just show you're leaving for more than three months and can support yourself over that time, you'll be fine.
