Has anyone found a good deal in BKK for the ~3 months accommodation you need to show evidence of having booked for an outbound exemption?

I've found BKK condo apartments coming in at around AU$900 for a 90 day stay.

TLDR : Answer Summary
There is a discussion among expats regarding finding suitable accommodation in Bangkok for the 90-day duration required to meet visa exemption conditions. Some members have shared options like condo apartments costing around AU$900, while others suggest alternatives such as refundable hotel bookings, particularly at places like Travelodge Sukhumvit. It's noted that evidence of payment is crucial for the STV visa application, highlighting the importance of booking accommodations and potentially booking multiple places for shorter durations. The group also questions the validity of Airbnb bookings for visa requirements.

Evidence that you booked it is not enough, you also need to show that you have paid the accommodation in advance

That's the advice I've seen written too, on Australian Thai embassy pages. 3 months already paid up, with the hotel's contact details and tax ID. Harsh. If you weren't going to stay the full 90 days in that hotel then hopefully they'd be flexible after the booking.

Is that for the Thai STV or Australia's outbound travel exemption?

Since Airbnb for 30+ days is legal, wouldn't that booking confirmation count as well?

Well, I'd love to know if anyone's obtained an STV with an Airbnb booking.
