When was the last time you wore a tie whilst in Thailand?

I have 30+ ties, my wife says I’ll never wear them once we are in Thailand so might as well give them to charity here in the UK hence asking if you ever attend a more formal establishment where a nice shirt and tie is perhaps expected or at least appreciated
