A DTV visa is multiple Entry visa. Although by essence once you apply for another visa the DTV will be deemed cancelled, since it is only a visa not base on a work.
However, to smoothly run the course of visa transition you can ask the immigration in chaengwattana to cancel the DTV to pave the way for another visa
Basically, they will give you a realtime advice, and give you a time frame for number of days to make a new visa.
You can immediately change also from DTV to Non b internally depending on the officer that will accept your case in chaengwattana especially if your documents are ready.
When you arrived in Thailand - you should have a tourist entry visa which is 60 days and extendible another 30 days in immigration office.
Now you can still make a visa border run, but if you wanted to stay without hiccups..
1. DTV - 5 years visa for nomads but cannot work or earn income inside Thailand
2. LTV - for wealthy foreigners with or without company in Thailand, can able to earn income inside Thailand...which is very good minimum 10 years up to 20 years
3. Elite visa - this is a super high income foreigner and cannot also earn income inside Thailand
hi Thiri by writings it is not included but yes it is not excluded also however if the likelines to be approved and not to be approved I find many applicants has been denied no reason at all
Funny that foreigners keep telling it's a scammed, when you got the VISA that you paid for.....do you really believe that it will be free to just process your visa, given all the documentation and still you will get a Muay Thai lesson....common

Single proprietorship is not required but it doesn't mean it cannot be registered..so since you apply for DTV your business should be registered or else it will be rejected
