TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster seeks advice on the type of visa required to stay in Thailand for three months, and how soon they can return to Thailand after that stay, as they plan to live between England and Thailand. Comments provide various suggestions, including options for retirement visas for those over 50 with substantial bank savings, the possibility of tourist visas including border runs to extend stay, and the advantages of specific long-term visas like the DTV and LTV. Additionally, recommendations for visa assistance services and contact information for agents are offered.

Over 50 the O Retirement Visa is easy enough to get. With a multi-entry permit you can come and go as yiur please. You can apply for the O-A in the UK bit it is best to come on Visa Exempt and apply here. You will get an initial 90 days then a 1 year extension first time. After that yo get 1 year extensions. 800k THB on the bank of proof of 65k a month income. You could also go for the DTV. Plenty info in this group about that. For retirement visas TiKtok Services in Pattaya are excellent. They are on Facebook and very responsive to messages

When you arrived in Thailand - you should have a tourist entry visa which is 60 days and extendible another 30 days in immigration office.

Now you can still make a visa border run, but if you wanted to stay without hiccups..

1. DTV - 5 years visa for nomads but cannot work or earn income inside Thailand

2. LTV - for wealthy foreigners with or without company in Thailand, can able to earn income inside Thailand...which is very good minimum 10 years up to 20 years

3. Elite visa - this is a super high income foreigner and cannot also earn income inside Thailand

For any inquiry

He is from the UK. He gets 60 days Visa Exempt not a tourist visa unless he applied to the Embassy. Use the correct terms as it does matter if you are going to give advice.
