Foreigners should submit their arrival card information 3 days in advance of arriving in Thailand, including the date of arrival. This allows sufficient time for processing and verification of the information provided.”
it’s NOT about how long it takes to fill the form, it’s about the “must be submitted 3 days prior” that I’m addressing. People can’t book a weekend trip on a whim with this new form.
What about people who book a flight last minute? I’ve done that many times; depressed after a week of long work days, have a drink on a Thursday night thinking “I need a weekend getaway” and bought flights to depart Friday 😂What happens then? At least the paper version could have been filled in during the flight or on arrival
PS I’m NOT talking about how long it takes to fill the form, it’s about the “must be submitted 3 days prior” that I’m addressing.
My husband and I got our DTV’s for remote worker in Hong Kong. We didn’t apply at the same time, but both got approved though we did get asked for some more documents.
He is a Hong Kong born local with British passport, I’m a HK permanent resident with Australian passport.
