@Nin ****
it says to print it out on the evisa website popup during the application process.

A reminder to PRINT OUT your DTV or in the case of a sticker visa, point it out to the IO. They stamp thousands of passports a day and can easily overlook these things if not made aware. Murphy's law.

A pdf should be adequate as long as it appears to look genuinely generated with appropriate identifiers such as logo, account number and or account holders name. Printed statements would require being in the country where your bank was located, which official enough but highly impractical for the majority of applicants already physically abroad.

a murky mire of guesses and speculation at this point, just wait until the government provides clear direction on the steps to be taken towards implementation and compliance. I'll expect the notices to be placed prominently in bars throughout the country when the time comes. 😁😁

@John ******
you copy text from 1 solitary embassy website interpret it as you will, and now say it's gospel across the earth. You need to show the evidence that this standalone embassy policy is the norm.

I'm sure you're a nice guy and all John but I'm not going to get into this long running debate with you. People don't get their visas in time all the time and enter, then bounce out to activate it later. I've sat in thai Visa forums for almost 10 years and I'm just speaking from experience, the experience of seeing people tell their tale, and the experience of admins suggesting this recourse. You ask if the ministry of foreign affairs gives different types of requirements to different embassies? I don't know that but I know a lot of embassies just do whatever they want to do. Forinstance if you want to go buy a DTV in New Zealand 40,000 baht. Being a consul general or ambassador has its privileges.
