TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for accommodation during a visa application in Thailand can vary. Some users mention that booking accommodation for just one day may be acceptable, while others suggest booking for at least two weeks depending on the consulate or embassy's policies. It's generally recommended to maintain accommodation until your visa is approved to prevent any issues with your application.

It depends on the country; you need to be there for two to three weeks, as embassies are slow.

Depends on the consulate or embassy. Some are fine with a single night while others want at least 2 weeks or more.
