Depending on your bank and branch. Every requirement will be different. I had a similar post a few weeks ago and were finding out that the same bank but a branch down the street in some cases had different requirements

Ya as Lord Thurkettle mentioned. Permanent residency is not easy, like at all. And just because your spouse passes away does not get you some sort of brownie points towards it.

So... thais get an immediate fix... within a few days of this happening to them. But foreigners are currently still sitting on weeks and weeks of frozen accounts. For no reason... k
