If she owns the condo/house/townhouse she can register for you online. If she don’t own the property then the landlord needs to register you for tm30.

Also, you won’t need a tm30 unless you’re staying longer than 60 days. Depends on which passport you hold. Most passport will get a 60 days visa exemption on entry.

John Cooler I never been asked to show proof of currency out of the bunch of times I’ve gone thru immigration. I’m always carrying at least $4k usd anyways. I never look up any countries minimum cash entry requirements. I always travel to every country prepared with cash. I don’t know 1 person that travels anywhere with less than $650 usd on them. Dont want to be rude but if anyone is traveling with less than that or cannot prove they have at least $650usd on them then they don deserve to travel.

I know recently where a women went viral on ig or TikTok saying she was denied entry to Thailand because she couldn’t show she had 20,000b. Story is that she was border hopping and staying for many months in Thailand so immigration wanted a reason to deny her so they asked her to show proof of 20,000b.

Also, Thailand requires an onward ticket but I have never been asked to show proof. I have book a one way ticket before but I am prepared to book a return ticket the min they do ask me to show proof. Bust out my cell phone and book a return ticket thru app or credit card portal.

Log back into the tdac site and send yourself another QR code. Last 2 times I entered they didn’t even ask for my QR code. I think it’s linked to your name when you hand them your passport.

Jeff Hoffmeister I never have been asked at immigration. $600 usd isn’t a lot of money for someone who’s traveling. Let’s just say they don’t have the cash. The should have debit card to withdrawal the cash out. Let’s say they forget the debit card. Then last resort is withdrawal from credit card. There will be a fee but that fee is cheaper than being denied and buying a return ticket back home. If anyone fails this then they don’t deserve to travel.

If USA passport then yes and also need to fill out TDAC a few day before entering Thailand. Also having accommodation booked before hand because TDAC will ask for accommodation address. Other passport holder might need a visa depending on country.

You’re not going to find anything for 5,000b a month within those areas of the map you posted. There are apartments/condos around that price range but it’s about 1 hr bts ride to Lumphini area. Budget will need to be at a minimum of 15,000b-20,000b to be around Lumphini.

Look around bang wa and bang phai off the mrt station. You might find some places for around 5,000b-8,000b
