Depending on where you applied, it's ok to just put an intended flight.

Nepal takes around 10 business days. It is not as fast as other embassies. You have not received any request for new documents so that's a good sign. Hopefully you get approved soon. 🤞

Yes, that has been the case when i applied and long after. Double check it has not changed thouigh, i have not heard it has. Also look at the posts abouit applying in Taiwan. They are very particular about what they want.

I got my DTV from Taiwan, with a week old deposit. submitted 6 mths of statements with a final balance of 500K THB, other months were way less. You can find recent approvals from Vietnam detailing less than a month deposit of 500k. Email Taipei to double check, they usually respond in a day or 2.

You should top up your account a bit above the exchange rate to even out any drop in rate when you apply,

Vietnam approves on final balances as does Taipei which is very close to Japan..

If you apply at an embassy that requires 3-6 months of seasoning, then you will be rejected. There are embassies that approve on just the final balance of 500K.

It depends where they apply. There are plenty of embassies who approve on just the final balance as 1000s of posts in this forum show.

Congrats! Very useful info for applicants applying in Laos and elsewhere. Approvals are getting quicker in Laos these days.
