Elite visa is the most suitable one for this requirement.

Unless you stay in a hotel, you need to file TM30

Then it is easy. You get a 30 day stamp without any further formalities which you can extend in the country by another 30 days. “visa on arrival” is for certain nationalities, like India.
Hartfried ********
What nationality do you have?
Hartfried ********
As often as you are being considered a 100% tourist or not in a function that would actually require a proper visa.

Thanks to the team for investing a tremendous time for helping others with formalities.

Anyone was successful in Jomtien/Pattaya?

I live in Myanmar. Emirates flights from BKK to Europe are almost always at least 10k THB cheaper than from RGN. I tend to avoid starting the flight from BKK though in order to avoid adding up too many previous entrance stamps to Thailand.

I used to work for UN, had a non-immigrant "F" visa and was officially exempted from 90 day reporting and TM30. But this was 4 years ago.

I am in the same situation. I am based in Myanmar and have to do a border bounce every 70 days.

Of course I like the amenities of the land of smiles, go there with return flight, hotel booking and cash. I usually only stay a few days in Thailand.

So far no problems, but I am alternating now with short trips to Singapore and Malaysia and try to have 3 months breaks between my visits to Thailand.
