I just got my multiple entry non o visa based on marriage from Savannakhet Laos. Had no problems whatsoever. Follow the link that Robert gave for having the right documents. That link he gave. I followed. Got my visa. You get all those documents he mentioned. It's to a tee.

You had answers to everything. Which embassies do require funds. Which embassies don't. I'm using you guys and girls all the time.

Non O Visa situation if applying in London.

Hi, I'm currently in Chiang Mai and need to do a visa run. Was going to do Vientiane, however, there is no booking slot available for the whole of next week, Please advice. I may have to KL or HCMC otherwise.

just an update : went to Savannakhet Laos to reapply for my 1 year non o immigrant and was fuss free as usual as long one has prepared everything that is needed for the application. got it back the next day. arrived on 6/8 & submit on 7/8 morning & got everything back on 8/8 2pm. at immigration happen to see 2 cases with approved visa nearly denied entry due incomplete tm 6 form like address in thailand. so make everything is filled nicely for them. hope this helps.

Just an Update about 1 year Non - Immigrant - O - Visa Savannakhet / Laos based on marriage to a Thai woman.

Early morning there . Prepared with the usual Paperwork / copies without my wife.:

Copy from wifes ID Card signed by her yesterday with date

Copy from her Tabian Ban signed by her yesterday with date

Copy from our German Marriage certificate translated in Thai and testiefied by the German Embassy signed by my wife yesterday with date

Original of the Certificate incl Translation.

Filled Application form incl. Duration of Proposed stay 360 days.

Submit application form, passport and copies. After a brief review, the obligatory question about the original marriage paper. Presented: Ok everything ok. 5000 baht please you can pick up your visa tomorrow from 2.00 pm.

We do NOT have a Thai Marriage Paper (Khor. Ror. 3) not now and never had in 21 years. Only the German one with the

legalized translation into Thai testified by the German Embassy.

Is it possible to arrive on a single entry tourist visa, get married and then convert the visa to a year long multi entry based on marriage within the country? Or I'd have to travel elsewhere for a new visa?
