TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, it appears that individuals holding a Work Permit from a BOI (Board of Investment) company are often exempt from TM30 reporting requirements. Several users in the discussion have confirmed they have never been asked to complete TM30 forms or have only encountered it infrequently while reporting for 90-day notifications at immigration offices. However, it is also mentioned that compliance and exemptions may vary based on individual circumstances and types of visa held.

I am working for one of those big capital companies and pop into Chamchurri Sq immigration every 90 days to report and in 2 yrs never been asked to do a TM30.
I'm a foreigner, do not even work and I never report a TM30, so what is the point of going to work for a BOI company to avoid something I not have to do anyway? And for those who think I'm breaking laws, sorry guys, my address is registered with the Immigration Office correctly
but if you leave the country etc, you would have to report within 24 hours, or if you stay at a hotel in a different province, the hotel would file you as being there, so you would need tolet them know you are back right?
