You can use any insurer for the covid 19 coverage. It just has to cover $100,000usd and state in the policy or letter you receive.

yea thats the problem with allowing anyone in right now with the quarantine period still at 15 days. its not worth it for short term visits. no one wants to spend 15 days in quarantine, even if its a month of vacation time. not worth it. as when you get home you probably have to quarantine again!

you are correct the STV is 90 days, but anyone applying for the STV is most likely planning on staying the whole 270 days.

The OP stated they want to come for 90 days. that would be a Tourist Visa, which is also cheaper and less requirements to obtain. 60+30 day TR visa.

they are running the data collection period starting now, until jan 1'st i believe. so anyone arriving now will be subject to the 3 tests. and they will know by jan 15 what the decision is. i did read that the 10 day quarantine will only be for people from countries that have Covid under control, the USA is not one of those countries unfortunately

Will is saying to go to the immigration office to report and ask for an extension. no boarder crossing required. you could do this prior to covid. i think it costs 1900THB. but no one knows if this is still the case since they just announced they are allowing visa exempt countries to arrive for 30 days.

probably not direct. you'll probably have to go through taipei or hongkong

The company should be paying to switch your visa. If they want you to work for them that should be a cost they cover.

You should also state where you are located. The US is a very large country!
