Is there a start date for the compulsory insurance to enter Thailand yet?

Do I need medical insurance before I visit Thailand.

Any recommendation where to get cheap insurance to enter the country? need covid insurance?

I am aware of the insurance requirements for Thailand being 10,000 dollars however with the likelihood that most people won't be needing it and it probably wouldn't pay out anyway and are just buying it to pass the Thai Pass , are there cheaper options that work than the near 100 pounds AXA asking for. I have insurance with revolut that's Allianz which is covered medical but doesn't specifically mention covid on the certificate.

My friend is coming to visit on the 1st of May with her husband and she asked about having to have insurance.

With things changing, will her family have to buy any?

I'm presently looking at covid insurance, there seems to be a group feeling that the Thai pass is more likely to except a Thai insurance company rather than a outside provider. Thing is of course that the Thai companies are not covering large parts of the repercussions of covid hassles .eg hotel stays etc . As opposed to an insurance I can buy in my own country ( Australia ) . With home brought I can get full coverage for all aspects of the covid hassle, but will Thai pass except the outside coverage? Would welcome some input as to what is enjoyable please.

Hello I will travel to Thailand around June with family , just have question about insurance.

1. Do children need insurance ? I have 6 & 10 yrs old. I have Thai passport but both my children born in NZ & have NZ passport.

2. How long my husband need his insurance to cover during stay in Thailand for covid 19? I plan to apply visa under married for him once we arrive Thailand.
