I know it's been brought up before but what is the process for the Thai Pass? I've put off traveling back to Thailand due to many posting the difficulty in getting it approved. I'm traveling from United States and have had booster for covid.

Understand I need following information to upload

1) covid Insurance. Where did you get yours?

2) flight and hotel information

3) passport screen shot

What else is required? Who or where am I uploading all this? Is uploading it difficult? Once approved will it download as a QR?

How far out can I apply for thai pass?

Just trying to get information needed in a simplistic way. Yes I'm not that great with using smart phone properly.

Hello everyone

I'm new in here and obviously I've never been to Thailand before This year I am planning my trip but I am not sure about many things. first I am American I have already heard what documents I needBut I have a lot of confusion and I hope someone can help me.in addition to passport, insurance, and ticket round trip. How do I do for the time I want to stay, for example, I have heard of 30 days visa or 60 or 90 days visa. but how do you apply for a 60 or 90 day visa? Also, if you apply for a 60-day visa, for example, and the month passes and you don't want to stay there for any reason, you can leave whenever you want and that's it?

Hi I am staying in Cambodia and soon planning to go Thailand. I am a little lost in the requirements needed at the moment....

Health Insurance, Covid-19 vaccination certificate and PCR test?

for the health insurance, I found AXA Sawasdee Thai is the insurance recommended by the govt?

The vaccination certificate can be only the Cambodian vaccination card or it needs an International paper?

I am thinking to go maybe middle of june, and then again in august, is there any visa that covers both travels, or is it better to do one for june and then another for august?

Hi everyone,

I will be going to Thailand on a 30 day visa exempt trip.

On my Thai Pass application, am I required to show proof of advance payment/bookings for accommodation for the full period of my stay?

I am unsure of my movements within Thailand and prefer to arrange accommodation as I go, once I am there.

If proof of all accommodation is required, does the Thai Pass allow for uploading multiple hotel bookings/ receipts?

Thanks

I'm a new comer to the group, thanks for accepting me.

I have a query about the $50,000 USD insurance to enter Thailand, that I hope someone can help with.

I live in Thailand on a Non O Visa (Thai Wife). While there isn't an insurance requirement for this Visa, as is the case with an O-A Visa, I do have insurance covering inpatient care, with cover of $20,000 USD.

I will travel to Australia early next year and will obviously need to increase my insurance cover to re-enter Thailand. My question;

My current visa expires in July 2022, how long should the period of $50,000 USD be for? Until my Visa is renewed and then go back to my regular policy, or should it be for a full 12 months?

TIA

Some advice please. Ive been coming to Thailand every year for 2 to 4 months for the last 14 years to visit my 13 year old son and his Mum before going back to work in the UK! Because of Covid, I’ve been here nearly a year now. Since the visa amnesty finished I’ve been going to my local Immigration office who happily gives me a 60 days extension, mainly because of my son and my long time partner (not married) has all the necessary paperwork (blue book etc etc). I’ve never once been asked to provide evidence of my financial situation or evidence of adequate funds etc

My dilemma is that I really need to get back to the UK to conclude some personal and business ‘stuff’. I’m terrified that if I go back to the UK I’m not going to be able to get back into Thailand (around September?) without it costing an arm and a leg. Things may change by then I know but I can’t see how I can get away with the 14 day quarantine (60k bhat?) and that’s ok, but what is all this about a really expensive insurance requirement and having to have 200k in a Thai bank? So many different versions of what’s needed it gets very confusing! Would applying for a Thai ID and driving licence and a yellow book be helpful?

Hello

I am planning my trip back to Thailand on an STV (Special Tourist VISA).

I have an insurance related question.

I know i have to purchase two different types of insurance

- one is the general health insurance

- one is the COVID19 insurance from the covid19.tgia.org

I know the COVID19 insurance must cover my hole stay but how about the general one?

Does it have to cover the entire stay or just the first 90 days?

If somebody has knowledge or experience about it or know a trustable good english speaking insurance agent please let me know.

Thank you in advance
