It's Facebook. Anyone is free to make their own group if they don't like the way a particular group is run.

Yes, but make sure you're aware that Monday and Tuesday are Thai holidays. So you'll need to be fast.

You can pre-fill most of the application on the e-visa website. Then as soon as you enter Laos (I would go Tuesday) upload your entry stamp in your passport and submit your application. Then first thing Wednesday morning (I'm talking EARLY, because they will have been closed for 4 days, there will be a lot of people there), go get in line at the embassy to make the payment for your application. They accept payments from 9-11 AM.

Then you'll just have to wait.

The requirements on the embassy website say it must be issued within 3 months. Can you not apply before it expires?

Still 60 days. You can apply one time for a 30-day extension from your local immigration office.

There won't be anything in your passport about 90-day report if you leave Thailand and return.
Brandon ************
You will not be notified. It's your responsibility to count the days.

There is an automated system that might e-mail you 90-days after you do a TM47 report, but it's unreliable. Some people get the reminder and some do not. And it does not know your travel history, so if you leave Thailand you will still get the notification even if you're not in the country.

No, you don't need an onward ticket.

You will need to fill out a TDAC before you travel though.

They ARE the admin.... and what fear? This is the reality of today. You just have to read the dozens of reports across many Facebook groups and other online communities.

As long as the bank can see where the money originally came from, and if that was from outside of Thailand, it should be fine.
Brandon ************
You should be fine. Just hand over your passport and printed pdf of your visa.

Some reports of Chiang Mai having a special form for first time entrances on DTV, so avoid that airport if you are worried.
