Official announcement is needed - rumours abound all the time and are often wrong until the last minute.......BUT I think the old 1 day bounce is not gonna happy for a while. You may be really lucky, but Thailand want Visa applications and Covid tests etc in that country and stopped VoA and via free entry, so a lot has to change to go back to the old in/out routine. Much better they let people pay to extend their Visa, given as many may find it less than easy to actually find flights home
