Currently in the UK waiting to return, UK embassy’s have next to no updated information, if you are lucky enough to get hold of them on the phone.

There is no information available as of yet. It will only be certain countries initially though and it looks like China first. I have read the processing is outsourced to an agency and the application fee is 10k Baht.

I've emailed them last week, they replied: "Thank you very much for sending us your information. Your information has already been registered in our system. Once we are able to officially start processing your application, we will update you as soon as possible."
So not sure what will happen next.
