you are required to report your address via TM30. However, I don't know if you have noticed how quick the police catch up with someone if they really want to.

Go to your local public hospital. The records are in the national health system. Takes a few days, then you collect. At least that is how it rolls in Hua Hin.

Kap Cheng, Surin IO actually asked me to go to Retirement extension from an ME Non-O Spouse visa when I was seeking a Thai Spouse exemption. He said "less paperwork for you and me"

you can do it by post but be aware that Canberra may reject photos because they do the biometrics from them and are really fussy. Best call the embassy for advice for shop in CNX

yes. Make an appointment. They were very helpful. Best to get your passport photos from the recommended shop in Sathorn. Hassle free that way. It is only 10 mins away by car/taxi/mc taxi.
