You might also need to show you have a place to stay (it’s not consistent) and sometimes a return ticket out but the return ticket is more often requested by the agent checking you into your flight from the departure country

Google does show boats, but not if you are checking at a time when they aren’t running (same with the trains and buses). So if your in a different time zone, you might checking after they stop running for the day

Also, make sure your google is updated. I couldn’t map until I updated the app

at minimum buy catastrophic insurance with deductible to avoid using your life savings. I had the same issue when I extended my trip.

I extended with atlas travel medical insurance (I think they had the travel expense coverage as well )
