That's a generous way of thinking about it Jack, yeah, what you say is true about thinking under duress.
Thai dogs seem to specialise in lying out in the road, if I had 100B for each one I've driven around bla bla bla... bad luck to have one turn under a wheel though, commiserations here
you say you went Satun so I guess you are referring to a trip Tammalang Pier to Langkawi and back. I've wondered about this, and in particular the location of the immigration office at the Pier. Could you fill me in on that please? Thanks.
Context: I was more thinking of this as a mini-holiday in Malaysia rather than for visa purposes. In maybe a year's time when I'm back in Thailand.
thanka but when did you do that even for a Thai rock bottom price I've heard is 300 return. Myanmar immigratiin wirks in bhat heae days, see my comment above...
without your slur about bad motives, your reply is lacking.
Even getting married may not help for the UK. Depending on salary, it may or may not be possible to unite with a wife (or husband, or partner) in the UK
"The spouse/partner visa minimum income will first increase to £29,000 on 11 April 2024; to around £34,500 at an unspecified time later in 2024; and finally to around £38,700 “by early 2025”" House of Commons Library.
to answer your specifics, Thai immigration does not keep your passport, it goes with you. Myanmar stamps you in and out in one transaction.
If you use the same agent your TM6 (used for land / sea entry) is filled out at Thai leaving time and stays with the agent while you go to Myanmar and back, but rejoins you and your passport when you get back, before you get to the entry window Thai side.
