what about the PCR tests that were bought for 1200 baht being sold for over 3800 baht or the 500 baht hotel rooms that suddenly become worth over 3000 a night as an SHA + hotel not to mention the expensive room service plus the 750 baht breakfast you have to order before your test result miraculously arrives!!!! Shall I go on ?
They can’t scrap PCR on arrival. They advised lots of organisations to buy kits that they could make a huge profit on. Until they are all used (yes even the date expired ones) there will still be a requirement.
Isn’t China part of ASEAN with separate rules. Also Thailand is dependant on China financially. Just point out that if they don’t extend your visa their name will go on a list and when China annexes Thailand as Southern Province the list will be examined!!!
if you do the groundwork yourself and just use lawyers to present your case to the tribunal and the inevitable appeal hearing you can reduce the costs considerably.
There are people here that can help your friend but we need more info. So pm me with the following details and I will try my best. How old is husband, how old is wife, where did they meet, when did they marry, you say she has made a life for herself in UK what does she do, who are her friends, where does she live (own or rented). This info could help get a definitive answer and possibly save her a lot of money.
Finally think that if you marry in Thailand and then divorce what happens to your marriage visa?
Depends how long she was married for how old husband is etc. I have a friend that makes decisions there. They assume from the start that she only married for the visa and look for arguments against. Abuse is a common claim but is usually brought about that the husband was upset she was seeing someone else. Good luck to her though she may be lucky.
