Hi everyone!

Now my situation is, have to leave Thailand before 7th March cuz of the immigration policy, however, it’s quite hard to get a stable flight back to China. So I’m planning to go into Turkey or Serbia maybe both, wait there until i can get Thailand tourist visa 60.

So is there anyone having any idea about the duration when I can apply for this visa since I leave?

Thanks a lot!

Loads of people suggested me Cambodia, but I’m not sure if my nationality is possible to get tr 60. I was holding Ed visa that’s why I cant convert to NON B or any other type visa.

I don’t think there is much option for you, if you found a proper job then possible for employer switch to Non-B within Thailand. But not all employer can do this , totally depends on their abilities.
@Johnny ****
Jin had a good example, went to Cambodia , get a new TR visa. Then you can easily switch to ED or Non-B without any problem. Duke language school have good offer with ED visa ya

And for me, a few months later I’m leaving Thailand and heading to Cambodia for TR visa too.

Finger crossed

Isn’t China part of ASEAN with separate rules. Also Thailand is dependant on China financially. Just point out that if they don’t extend your visa their name will go on a list and when China annexes Thailand as Southern Province the list will be examined!!!

Nope. China is NOT part of ASEAN. Second bit's a nice idea 😂

that I believe they have to set an appointment in Ankara but they can verify on e-visa site. I think it depends on where you are a resident and citizen.

Have you asked the Chinese Embassy if they issue an embassy letter requesting for you to stay in Thailand? You can get a 30 day extension of stay.

Contact the Chinese Embassy at

If going to China is your concern, fly into Vientiane Laos, then take the high speed train to the Chinese border, and cross over.

not really. 😔My concern is that I wanna come back Thailand in a short period.
Steve *******
There is no time limit to be out of the Country before you can apply for a tourist visa.

@Steve ******
sorry

Do you mean that there is no time limit to apply for a Thailand tourist visa next time after leaving Thailand for a third country?
Steve *******
@Zhou *******
Yes. There's no requirement to be out of the Country for a certain period of time before returning. Visa exempt can leave and return the same day or as soon as you've recieved your tourist visa you can re-enter.
