Beachfront Villas aren’t really a thing I. Pattaya as limited space. Out towards Jomtien there are quite a few. Price wise you are looking at around 1750 $ a month including pool maintenance and gardener. If you have staff quarters then possibly let gardener live in with his wife doing cleaning and washing instead of paying rent. Good luck.

I have accounts with Bangkok, Kasikorn, Krungsri and KTB in Loei. Never any problem about buying insurance. Once you are over 60 they can’t insure you anyway through their systems. Just let them spend ages tapping away at their computer gleefully thinking of the commission until you see their face when the final screen tells them you are above age limit. Bangkok bank even tried to take back the umbrella gift !!!!!

If the house is in your wife’s name then all the documents must relate to her. The only way you can register to do it is if you upload a power of attorney or rental agreement in your name. It’s no big issue though just let your wife do it

Just happened to a friend of mine. They checked his visa for 30 days and said ok. As long as not a back to back or border hopping they are ok. When he asked they told him visa for 30 days then 90 days back in own country ok.

yes agreed. There are many but they are working illegally and if there are problems they are the ones that carry the can.

Simply No. No degree no work permit. You can work but it will be illegally. Any issues, salary not paid etc. You won’t have a leg to stand on. Some have got away with it for years. Others were arrested, fined, deported and banned from re entering Thailand. You take your chances!

My wife used her id card but I think only allowed 3 days or short period.
