If you have the money check out a thailand elite visa for 5 to 20 years. They re very expensive but if you have a business it's a lucrative choice..if you need citizenship it's better to choose another country.
They must give you a TM30 if they dont want to.do.it go and speak to tourist police..many small businesses do not understand this is N obligation..also get copy of your lease and have it interpreted by a reputable friend.
Any special reason you need to buy a property? 30 year lease is a good option but if you want to leave it for someone then the house is not yours anymore. Just a thought
Ken Chao the air pollution, cutting down all the trees, building the bTS and all the new government houses and condos In Bangkok have definitely ruined the air quality in the past few years. Are you in BKK?
Yes living costs in Laos and Burma.are higher. Cambodia is cheaper but doesnt have the same standards of amenities,.hospitals dentists, pharmacies, clinics etc..so you would.gonto Thailand for that, again raising costs.
Most of us have no tax problems or immigration issues..pollution in Bangkok and chiangmai, no more than most other cities.. if you live on the coast or an island it's much better..food, accommodation, friendly people great climate. I've lived in Burma, Cambodia and Laos..more expensive but also lovely. Some people.love Vietnam.
recommending lawyers in bangkok who deal.with Surat province or a lawyer in this area will have connections on the island. Different everywhere. For example my lawyer in bangkok deals with Chumphon province because her family is from there..she has police, immigration and connections with the local government offices
Are you in thailand and on KPG now? Best to talk to people who have already done this on KPG and who have connections here..also to know you're landlord/seller/ leaser person ally. Definitely a good lawyer from.surat thani province.
