If you do the proof of income from your consulate, make sure you keep your receipt as I got rejected based on the stat dec being considered a fake because i had no receipt.

Friend went to airport to leave and get new visa with 90 days overstay, had to pay 20'000thb fine and get 1 year ban. If you go to local immigration you will still get the fine but may not get the ban.
