What happens to my 90-day stamp when I leave Thailand on a Non-O (Marriage) visa with a re-entry permit?

If I arrived on a Non-o (Marriage) and I have been stamped in for 90days, and leave for example on day 75 after obtaining a reentry permit, when I return, I will be stamped 90 days again won't I?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you enter Thailand on a Non-O visa (Marriage) and are granted a 90-day stay, leaving before the 90 days expire will nullify any remaining days on that entry. With a re-entry permit, you can return to Thailand, but you will not receive a new 90-day stamp; you will only be allowed to stay until the original entry stamp expiration.

If you have a single entry Non O then it is “used” on that entry. If you leave on day 75 then the remaining days of stay are null and void. You’ve used the visa.

You could get a re-entry permit to allow you to re-enter for the remaining days allowed if you wanted to. [edit] Didn’t see the bit about the re-entry permit before answering. That only allows you to stay until your original entry stamp. You don’t get another 90 days on entry.

If you have a multiple entry Non O valid for a year (unlikely as very few embassies will issue that these days) then on every entry you’d get 90 days up until the validity date of the visa.

yes so I'm better off getting my 1 year extension then leaving and getting my reentry on it. Unfortunately circumstances will probably not allow me time to get my 1 yr extension. Will have to purchase another e-visa while I am away online.

That would work. Or you do what every other person on the planet seems to be doing and apply for the 5 year DTV
