@Mark *****
Surprised they allowed it typed.

I had submitted mine in english. They accepted it, but they made it clear it should be in Thai. I told them my laptop does not have a thai keyboard
Cha****
I guess they will accept both. I don't even get the point of the letter.

The people I know who had to do that letter mostly had their wives with them and had them pen it off while they were at the consulate. The two people I called who I know have visas from there said their wives wrote the letters in thai.
Cha****
Ok but that part I circled says Thai

For all intents and purposes you could write it yourself badly so it looks like she wrote it if you were in a pinch.

Hand written. And signed. I didn't have it and had to get it emailed to photocopy shop. Prei Nokor Hostel has some private rooms for about 800thb. Also I used Grab bikes when I had wifi. Cheap!
Cha****
Cool man, just a typed up letter or hand written? Any ideas on hotels?

do you only have between 8.30 and 12 to apply? Or can you also do it when they reopen between 1.30 and 3? Also what time were you able to receive your passport the next day?

So picked up the visa today in my passport no problems
@Tod ********
. One thing the lady there says I only need to report at immigration every 90 days NOT boarder bounce. Can anyone confirm?
Tod *********
If you have a year long, multi-entry Non-Immigrant Type O visa like this one, you get stamped in for 90 days when you enter, and when that is expiring you border-bounce and get another 90 day stamp. You do that for the validity of the visa itself (a year from the date it's issued). You can wring 15 months of stay (in 90 day increments) out of that visa and then extend the last entry by 60 days (under the visit family clause) at the immigration office for 1900baht.

incorrect :/

Lucky you they want accepted the printed one, don't try this at Thai Consular in Indonesia. They only accept the real one written and signed, not copy, not printed.

No proof of funds here

@Hendri *****
okay, thanx for that update (y)

@Tod ********
it does need proof of fund. Last year i printed my book bank just 2 weeks prior applied, lucky they still accepted it but warned next time not more than 1 week.
Tod *********
I didn't know you could get a year-long, multi-entry Non-O from the thai consulate in Indonesia based on marriage with no proof of funds.
Robert *******
Just curious. What has to be stated in the letter?
James ********

@David ******
