ORIGINAL POSTER
I arrived into Thailand on 5th September on a Visa waiver stamp 60 days until Nov 3rd. I would like to do the Non-O Based on Marriage from within Thailand and I am a little confused about when I would be looking at needing to apply for it based on my details above. Any help appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
You arrived in Thailand on a Visa waiver stamp, valid for 60 days until November 3rd. To apply for a Non-O Visa based on marriage, you need to apply between 30-45 days prior to your visa expiry, depending on the immigration office. It's generally recommended to have at least 15-21 days remaining on your stamp when applying. In Bangkok and Samut Prakan, for example, it is necessary to have a minimum of three weeks left to allow for potential visits from immigration officials to verify your marriage.

Hello
@James *******
, In Bangkok, Samut Prakan, I confirm that immigration requires that you still have at least 3 weeks on your stamp.

In a first step, you will apply for the O visa (90 days), then a second application for the extension of one year.

This imposed period of 3 weeks, corresponds to the possibility of receiving the visit of two immigration police officers to ensure the veracity of the marriage.

This can be perceived in a strange way. You will be photographed by one of them. With a little investigation of the neighborhood.

No worries if you are a real married couple. If you need any help, you should contact visathailand.com They can help about this process

Depending on the office you use. Some like Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket allow 45 days prior. Most others are 30 days prior.

Generally you’ll need between 15-21 days left on a valid stamp to convert.

While I'm thinking of it, is there a list of the requirements for this specific Visa that you can easily provide, such as photo or pdf that I can copy download to my phone? I have been watching and making mental notes of these things, but better that I can have info stored on my phone that I can refer to when the time comes for me to do this.

in the situation the OP has described, does the 400k financial requirement have to be in the Thai Bank account 2 months prior to applying in country for the 90 day Visa, or for the Extension of Stay that's applied for before the 90 day visa expires? Also, is it a requirement that the funds can be proved to have come from overseas in this situation?

Do Immigration Offices have their own requirements in these matters?

@Colin ********
No requirement for seasoned money for initial Non O, nor that it comes from overseas. 2 months prior to the extension is required.

except jomtien which requires seasoned funds for the initial 90 days

Do they require for marriage as well?

ah sorry I missed the marriage bit. I don't know

yeah, my questions to Stuart were based on marriage, as was the OP, so besides the monetary requirements in the link you provided being different, other requirements possibly are also. Province where I would be living is Nakhon Sawan, so assuming it's only Jomtien that's different, seasoning isn't required as Stuart said.
