3.2 Financial support for travel such as a certificate from the company or employer. We know that a DTV holder cannot get a work permit in Thailand so therefore you are showing us that a DTV holder is permitted to have non Thai employment.

no I was just correcting my comment that's all. I won't be going for extension of stay - border run will be fine for me. But anyway, what were you trying to show me? There's nothing that says remote work is not possible on soft power. There is evidence of embassies asking for evidence of remote income from soft power applications. I think you've got it wrong and I want to see if you can find any decent evidence to back up what you're saying. So far none..... So come on... bring the evidence....

Not everyone in the government knows everything, especially about the job of a different department. We have to look at real events on the ground.

that pretty much says "I'm not sure, go to ask immigration." Second, many soft power applications have been asked to show online income. Third, until you can show a clear example of a soft power DTV holder being apprehended by immigration for remote work (or indeed anyone in the last 5 years) then there's no problem with remote working on soft power.

There is one DTV and a few different ways to get it. It is possible that when extending or even perhaps very occasionally on entry that immigration check that you are doing what you said you would do when applying for the visa.

You gotta look at the location of the course too. Phuket is expensive from what I remember. I'm more concerned about location, not really because of the price though but more that I want to avoid tourist trap places. Cooking course in Krabi might be good as I see it.
