No. By rights you should never lose sight of ur passport. Tell that to the Thai embassy Canberra, where everything is by mail from WA for visas.

 Good point . I think the agreement with the OECD will now change things for the Thai's, I hope so. The Thai Government is applying pressure in this direction.

 200K Baht 1997 then to 500 K then 600k and in 2003 800 K baht information supplied by the late Ubonjoe.
