yep ...seems onward ticket is required by some airlines but seems very arbitrary sometimes I'm asked other times I'm not . Never been asked by immigration

I've never been asked for an onward ticket in 25 years .....that would very frustrating as I like to keep an open flexible itinerary

but no retirement visa in Vietnam .... Visa runs every 12weeks soon becomes a major pain
