@Lynnette ******
according to Brandon he says that all land borders are closed to foreigners yet Richard Reitman suggests that the boat crossing is extremely easy. Does that mean we could go across for the day to renew our Visa? Yes I know we can fly to wherever and we're lucky that we've been to most other neighbouring countries,we just fancied going on a road trip this time. And Ranong was one of the places mentioned. But if it's definitely not possible, we'll make a different plan. Thank you.

London. It took only a few days. It prompted us to add the first flight, which I did , which was 1st Nov-28 thApril plus bank statements and iID. I kept checking for the prompt for the second flight but instead, within 5 days we were granted our METV. I honestly thought it would be a SETV as we hadn't had to add anything else, but no definitely a MULTI visa!

But is it possible to stay for a couple of days in Myanmar or not? When I've looked online at the evisa application,it would suggest that that is a possibility. But it would appear that you also need to purchase insurance along with the visa application. Has anyone done this recently, independently or is it better to use a visa company ? We would prefer to try ourselves ( don't fancy being stuck in a minivan for the whole day!). Thank you again for taking the time to read this.

but you can get up to 9 months on it if you use it wisely. When we leave Thailand at the end of January,we will be stamped in for another 60 days. We will then extend once more before returning home in April.
