Just wanted a little bit more clarification please; you've all been so helpful so far! Re the Ranong border bounce,we're definitely going to try this - a bit of a drive from Hua Hin but we are looking forward to seeing parts of Thailand that we haven't seen before.
My final Q is this,: I have been searching online for a list of the docs we need to have with us. I have read lots of interesting anecdotal stories but nothing particularly current . As far as I can make out, I should have the following docs with me; passport, proof of flight home, 20000thb and $10-20 dollars?
Obviously we'll need cash for the ferry and we also have our Covid certificates. Is there anything else we should have with us? We also have extra photos and copies of our passports and our proof of residence in HH. Do you think that will be enough? I know it's a long drive, but it's a little birthday trip for me. If for any reason it doesn't work,we still have time to drive to Malaysia, but we'd honestly prefer not to. Thank you again for your help and advice. ๐
