There is no limit land, sea or air.

But they will be looking closer at your entry history, if someone is trying to live in Thailand on tourist stamps its going to be more difficult.

Once obtained it is a 5 year visa regardless if you don't even attend whatever reason you used, cooking, may thai etc.

If you are going to apply do it now.

no they cannot.

It is a 60 day visa EXEMPT (no visa) entry that can be extended for 30 days once inside Thailand.

Now expanded to 93 countries.

it is not a ED visa.

It is a "leisure" tourist visa.

No requirement but to enjoy Thailand.

or has the primary already obtained the visa?

In some visas the primary obtains theirs first, then the dependants apply with the appropriate documentation, proof of relationship, visa etc.

If you all applied at once I wonder if that may be why.

No Thai dependant visas require funds, as per BKK this is the same.

I asked this exact question and was answered 500k per family NOT per applicant.

I hope that they are able to sort it out, for many that would be a deterrent.

so the applications are all similar.

In the case of asking for finances for dependant I would recommend uploading the primary person's bank statement or you could try creating a photo that says not applicable.

This works with non-o visas when they are asking for things that don't apply.

OR contact the embassy directly on how they want to see it.

OFFICIALLY And verified it is 500k per family.

However the evisa sites etc are not up to speed.

yes it is a multientry visa officially.

And I have official clarification from Thai immigration.

no not overstay but a "denial of extension " still not a great stamp to have.

Not so much for Thailand but other countries may frown upon a denial or overstay stamp.
