Good morning all. My friends daughter is interested in doing a volunteer work in Thailand. Either with animal sanctuary or teaching basic English to remote village school children. What visa would she be able to apply for this from UK? Is there any agents or companies in Thailand that can help her with the visa and finding places for her to do the work? Any personal recommendations would be most grateful 🙏TIA

If I’m part of a group that meets regularly (like a parent/play/school group) and provides a service, but isn’t paid or for-profit, does it require a work permit for the person facilitating it? *Edit: * I’m just part of the group — not actually providing any service.

Has anyone on this forum ever done the Volunteer Visa? I have not encountered a single instance of someone who had done it and can share their experience with it.
