I am flying EVA London-Bangkok at the end of December, returning end of March. One month Northern Thailand, one month Laos and the last month in Southern Thailand. What do I do about proof of onward travel? Has anyone had any experience of flying EVA? Do they even ask for proof? Would a bus ticket Non Khai-Vientiane suffice or do I need a flight ticket out of the Country? Any advice would be appreciated šŸ™

Hello, first time posting. I never been to Thailand so all this is a learning process. I bought a one way ticket to Thailand and plan to use miles to come home to USA. My question is , I know we get 60 days and a 30 day extension. I don't know how long I am staying. May be 30, 60 or 90 days. Do I need a return trip to enter? And if so is it best to set it for 60 days or 90 days? What's my best way to handle this? Like I said, I am new to all this. Any advise is appreciated.

As it is the modern times of 2024, why is the visa application process still 100 years in the past? I do not want to fix my itinerary before I travel, I am a free spirit who likes to learn by doing and my plans may change, so why would I even go to a country that expects me to book everything rigidly in advance? Malaysia seems a lot more civilised and business minded to me.

If I book a return flight to the Uk after 90 days, hoping to get a 30 day extension at immigration, after 60 days and have a throwaway onward ticket to Malaysia before the expiry of the visa exempt. Can anyone foresee any problems ? Thanks in advance.

For info - travelled on 90 day Non o visa issued by London Thai embassy - LHR to BKK via Eva Air 12/10/24 my ticket had return date of 24/3/25 (163 days)

In LHR Eva didn't ask to see visa, boarded with no issues. In BKK passport stamped with 90 day and no questions asked about 163 day return date. (Was ready to explain I was applying for Marriage Visa in Dec for 12 month)

Just my experience.

Hello. Request for advice please; if I arrive with a return flight dated for 6 months after arrival, will I be admitted without any issues? My plan is not to stay in thailand for 6 months, but I would like to not have to plan my other flights in advance. Would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Hello. Uk passport. If i enter on visa exempt ie 60 days will immigration (if asked) accept an exit ticket 90 days later or must it be no more than 60 days. I appreciate you can extend by 30 days but will they accept a ticket out at 90 days when entering. Thanks all.

A friend plans to visit and stay for 75 days according to her ticket. Is there any chance she could be stopped at check-in without a valid visa?

Hi, if I would like to get a 60 day visa at the airport for me and my children, coming from the UK, do I need to have onwards travel in order for them to let us in?

Confused by everyone's conflicting information.

I'm Canadian

90 day air ticket booked and paid. If I arrive without a visa and just get visa free stamp on arrival for the 60 days but intend to add another 30 days extension. Will the lack of an exit flight in 60 days time be an issue. Or will the 90day exit flight I have booked make sense.
