they said no.......must be a recent thing, seems there really cracking down on this.....even 2 or 3 agents I've contacted the last 1 hours all said they can't do it anymore for DTV holders because of too much fraudulent activity going on with DTV holders

it's a bit insane though, I went to a few banks and they accept a 1 year education visa to open a bank account but the DTV 5 year visa no way lol

that's why I'm here asking, I've asked a few already and had zero success except the one agent who wanted 35k baht......I'll pay 4k baht max to open one up as its not a big deal for me but would be nice to have.
