well, if after 11 months of studying thai your son was unable to answer any simple questions that the officers made him then they got all the rights to be suspicious. Everyone knows that ED visa were abused and it was the was that most of tourists used to live long term in thailand. I wonder what the immigration of the USA or the UK would say if someone from thailand tries to enter the country after 11 months of studying English and actually can't say a word at all...
I live in taiwan (I can guarantee you I know about quakes, a year ago we got hit with a 7.2 and the epicenter was 120km away) and there are always aftershocks that can hit within 24yrs. Buildings should be all inspected to make sure their structure isn't going to fail. We all know how thai works so I wouldn't trust their buildings especially if u get in a crowded area. Anyways, do whatever u want but then stop asking for advice on fb
well, don't complain if next time you try to get in the country you get denied and forced to buy a ticket out of the country while in a detention room.... ;)
A lot of foreigners think that by raising a kid in thailand is gonna be cheap af. If you are looking for a western place to live in and send your kids to a decent international school then it's gonna hit your wallet especially if you want to live in places such as phuket/samui/bkk downtown...
