Anonymous participant DTV is a tourist visa. They also like you earning good money to qualify even on a B and WP.

The B is a non-immigrant visa but you can get PR on it. Work Permit and tax for 3 years I think it is. I qualified in 2022 but did not see any advantages in PR. My tax bill woukd have gone from 15% to 35% :-)

No you cannot get PR on a DTV. It is a tourist visa.

How long does it usually take to get a DTV visa approved in Cambodia, and can it be rejected without notification?

In Cambodia his kids put a notice on one of the bedroom doors saying "Uncle Greg's Bedroom -VIP" lol. They are older now. The residence was not as big last posting. I had to use one of their bedrooms. They are not going with him next posting though as at boarding school now.
