But it also means that you are not a normal tourist, as they stay around 15 days they claim. In ther logic, not mine. If I only had 15 days, I would never travel repeatedly to TH.

I'm sure they did mean a propper visa for him. As they not look at him as tourist anymore. Tourist visa is just the same, and many times have not been any different from Visa exemption. In past Tourist Visa could give 60 days, and exemption was only 30 days. But both are for tourist, so thats why maybe. Propper visa for long stay is what they talk about.

Today peoples are having problems entering with Tourist E-Visa etc and 2 trips pr year to enter Thailand. I doubt adding a overstay stamp in you passport will make it easier

Are not all the lounges past immigration? Kinda goes without saying doesn't it?

If not already extended at immigration get it. Or go airport day before. Grab a lounge and relax. Or pay the overstay if not planing to go Thailand much in future.

was posted In here not long ago. Seems to be deleted now. Was daughter of OP that was denied entry, after leaving Thailand for 2 weeks, during Thai language course. They pulled here aside asking questions etc and probably ask about thai language skills. Where there was a ton of jokes about cooking classes needing to cook for IO.

I highly doubt everyone on DTV soft power visa, actually do the classes.

From what I read about these visa is they recommended that the courses have duration above 6 months. And if I going for DTV, it will be to attend to it. I'm never this long in Thailand. I'm normaly 2 times x 90 days in Thailand.

No problems with my Bkk bank. I even called them and got confirmation that everything is fine. My phone number is confirmed with passport and not a tourist aim.
