if your BBL account is in City A, you need to show up at the branch in City A to validate and they will still need to send documents to HQ for approval before unfreezing. It's not immediate. You can't go to your branch at City A to unfreeze account at City B. Speaking from personal experience.

You need to obtain re entry permit at the immigration passport control counter at airport. They will direct you to another counter nearby to purchase the re entry permit. Do not cross passport control until you have purchased the permit.

TE said because their application were approved before the announcement of additional background checks, they didn't need to wait. So welcome letter sent and waiting to fix appointment for visa affixation at chaengwattana. Thanks for your reply and feedback. 🙏😊

Hi Brandon, my family members would like to cancel their Retirement visa now as they are going to affix their Thai Elite visa on same day of cancellation at Chaengwattana.. Due to the BBL debacle, they have withdrawn the THB 800K maintained from each of their BBL accountm However TE staff told us to put back the 800K withdrawn, in case immigration check and cause problem with TE affixation. I don't see how this would be a problem. Does BBL check bank balance at point of cancellation?

In Udon Thani, we need to furnish a condo rental agreement in order to get a certificate of residency for opening bank account, buy car etc.

but account was just validated in early July after the initial suspension, so don't understand why it's suspended again... Very frustrating...
