Very cool. That is actually a different thing, though. This is a regular 30 day extension of a tourist stay. But it saves me the hazzle of going to the government complex which is basically in Isaan.

A few times I'm pretty sure they didn't even look me up on the computer. Just a quick friendly chat with the meet-and-greet guy. And then stamp.

I recently entered at swampy with my third METV in as many years. No issues. I always use a fast track immigration service. No idea if that makes a diff (other than convenience, of course.)
