What are the experiences and tips for using the Thai embassy services in Ho Chi Minh City?

I went to confirm a few of them before submitting. The staff are very sweet and helpful. My stupid bank, for example, can't display in a meaningful language. But submitting prints in danish was just fine. Also, I guess my condo lease is "expired". It's just month-by-month now. No problem at all. I'm pretty sure that wouldn't fly in Bali, for example.

And a "funny" detail: First time I went there was a panicked guy there who couldn't submit because some copy shop was on holiday. They said, just get the copy and come back after lunch. So, they seem very user friendly.

coming back. I really wish I understood more Thai. The service guy and the immigration officer had a funny conversation whilst stamping me in. But no problems. And what a joy it is to just walk past those endless lines.
